Puppy Pictures: the fifth week!

July 2 - July 8 (most recent pictures first) They're just so darn cute at this age that I tend to take a lot of photos!

It has been so HOT this week. We don't have air conditioning, so the poor puppies suffer along with the rest of us. When we go outside, the pups love to play in the gardens, amongst the plants. On Wednesday, I left Norah in charge of the pups for a few minutes, and when I came back, she told me (giggling) that they were playing hide and seek. The four red/red sesame pups weren't too tough to find, but it took me forever to find River! Here she is, hiding under a perennial geranium, nearly invisable. And, yes, she is wet, as I'd been watering the garden right before the pups came out to play. Smart puppies, finding the coolest place to nap!

Lots of visitors over the weekend. That's Aunt Laura with babies (left and center) and a puppy pile-up on the big stuffed toy (right).

Cousin Alex with babies. In the last photo, he's petting Inara. Alex is very good with the pups - so gentle!

Friday we made our first trip outside. Zoe is in green, Inara in red, Kaylee in purple, and Mal and River are collarless.
